Ballarat Christmas Carols is an annual event and brings people together from across the Ballarat region. It provides an opportunity for the community to engage with groups such as the Country Fire Authority and groups of different ethnic backgrounds.
Ballarat Christmas Carols spreads the message of unity in the community. It provides a free event at Christmas time when things are becoming more and more expensive. It also covers all age groups and provides a festive and musical end to the year and start of the school holidays.

Ballarat Carols by Candlelight is for the community and by the community. Our event relies on a team of amazing people donating their time, knowledge, skills and expertise to bring Christmas cheer to our community.

What does being an Event Volunteer involve?
Under the guidance of the Production Manager and Front of House Manager, your job as a volunteer may include:

Greeting guests at the gate

Guiding people to seating areas

Collecting donations
-
Keeping aisles clear
-
Answering questions from patrons.

Making sure the grounds are clean - all done to the best of your ability
